DETROIT, Mich. — Rice Equity Group today announced the acquisition of five additional Subway® restaurants throughout the Detroit metropolitan area, further strengthening the company’s presence in Michigan and reinforcing its commitment to strategic growth within the quick-service restaurant industry. The newly acquired restaurants will operate under the leadership of Vice President of Operations for Subway, Ryan Burtman.
The acquisition builds upon Rice Equity Group’s long-term strategy of acquiring high-quality restaurant businesses in attractive markets while investing in exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and team development. The addition of these five restaurants expands the company’s Midwest footprint and reflects its continued confidence in the Subway® brand and its future growth opportunities.
